Summer Reading


Rock Out with Summer Reading!

1. Click here to register online, then track your reading from June 1 – July 31.
Paper forms are also available at your local library. The reading goals for each age group are:
Listeners (ages birth – 5): 10 books.
Readers (ages 6 – 12), Teens (12-18), and Adults (18+): 10 books or 10 hours of reading.

2. Rock out at events at your local library each week.
Check the calendar for events for kids, teens, and adults.

3. Complete the program for prizes and a chance at a grand prize! 
Listeners (Birth – age 5) and Readers (ages 6- 12) who complete the program will receive a medal, certificate, and a voucher to a Greenville Drive game. Listeners will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a LeapPad Ultimate. Readers will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire.

Teens (ages 12-18) after 5 books or hours will get a free pair of earbuds from Penguin Random House. After completing the program, teens will get a voucher to a Greenville Drive game and will earn one entry for the grand prize drawing for a $100 gift card to Target.

Adults (ages 18+) who complete the program get one entry for the grand prize drawing for a $40 QT gift card, a goodie bag, and a voucher to a Greenville Drive game. There will also be random drawings for free books (including Advanced Reader Copies for hot new summer reads) for adults registered for the program.
