Readers Week 2: A New Twist on an Old Tale

The Week 2 Activity Kit for Readers (ages 6-12) will be available to pick up July 6 - 10 at your nearest Anderson County Library location. This week's kit focuses on two beloved categories of literature for children - Greek Mythology and Tall Tales.

Included are some mazes and labyrinths for your child to enjoy; a Tall Tale Mad Lib, which is a story your child writes by filling in the blanks; and instructions to make an origami rabbit with a piece of origami paper. You'll also receive a list of books that go with this week's activities. These books are available from the library, but your child can read any book he or she wants to read to participate in Summer Reading.  Don't forget to turn your reading logs in by July 31 to receive prizes for your child.
