This is a 2.5-hour, interactive workshop designed to reduce the stigma of substance use disorder.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see recorded interviews with some individuals that have had substance use disorder (SUD) - several from here in SC. Facilitation of conversation amongst community members will take place with the goal of understanding how some became addicted and their recovery process. The conversations throughout the workshop will help the community to have compassion and understanding as we reduce the stigma.
Light snacks will be served.
