The 'Electric City Creative Highlight On' program aims to introduce library patrons to artists both old and new and give them more insight into the ways art is made. Every class begins with a short educational presentation about an important artist followed by an activity which delves into the subject's style and technique.
Join us in the makerspace as we explore the style and substance of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat's style and technique in making energetic neo-expressionist paintings combining elements of abstract art and graffiti.
