Twelfth Annual Poetry Contest

Get your poem published! 

Adults and teens in Anderson County are welcome to submit an original poem to the Twelfth Annual Anderson County Library Poetry Contest. Submissions will be compiled into an anthology that will be available for purchase. 

Please visit the Poetry Contest page on our website to view complete rules and to submit your poem digitally. Paper copies of your poem can be submitted along with a contest flyer entry form at any Anderson County Library branch location before February 22nd.

One poem per person. 

Submissions will only be accepted from January 13 until midnight on February 22, 2025.

Twelfth Annual Poetry Contest books will be available for pre-order from January 13 -  March 20, 2025 for $10.00. Cash, debit/credit card, and checks will be accepted.

Winners will be announced at the Poetry Contest Reception and Book Release on Monday, April 28, 2025.
