AWE Early Literacy Stations are self-contained (without internet connection) desktop computers that provide access to a wide variety of age-appropriate learning software in English and Spanish to help children develop early literacy skills in the areas of English, math, science, and the arts. No library card is required to use the stations.
Pickup on your schedule with our 24/7 lockers. Place a hold on items, receive a notification, and retrieve your materials.
Parent assistive study desk. Corral your little one(s) while you work or study
Use desktop computers with a library card or guest pass. Computers use a Windows-based operating system and connect to the internet. Please see computer use policy for details.
Place items on hold. You will be notified when your hold is ready by email, or text. Call your library 30 minutes before you want to pick up for staff to prepare your materials, then call when you arrive in the parking lot to have your materials brought out to you.
Scan-to-email and scan-to-USB services available at select (?) library locations for free.
Learn and make in the Electric City Creative Makerspace. Explore a wide range of equipment and materials to unleash your creativity, or join a class to learn new skills and techniques.
Duke Energy Park and Plug Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) stations are in the library parking lot at 91 Breazeale Street, Belton, SC. There are two types of plugs available, CHAdeMO and CCS/SAE. Several restaurants are a short walk, and the public library is a great place to relax and read while your battery charges.
Faxing services available at all library locations for $1 per page. Outgoing only.
Support your library! Purchase gently used books and materials, bookmarks and more in the Friends of the Library Bookstore. Proceeds support programming and strategic initiatives of the library.
Read and relax or join an activity or program in our teens-only space. Located on the upper level of the main library.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) lets you obtain materials or photocopies from other libraries when the materials are not available in the Anderson County Library system or the SC Lends consortium.
