November is Native American Heritage Month!

Join us at the library to watch a movie celebrating bravery, honor, and courage even when the one thing that is being sought is revenge.

Brother Bear tells the story of a young Native American boy, Kenai, who is undertaking a journey to become a man after receiving a bear totem during a ceremony meant to guide him in his life. The bear represents love, and Kenai feels as though he deserved something better as his totem. After some unfortunate circumstances take his brother and leave a young cub orphaned, Kenai literally walks in another's footsteps to learn exactly what love, bravery, honor, and courage really mean.

Bring a water bottle and your favorite movie snack (nothing messy, please!) and enjoy a free movie night.

Parents are required to stay in the library but do not have to stay in the room with the movie (unless you want to!).

Brother Bear is rated G.
